The primary focus of the Tulsa Tax Professionals (TTP) is a broad interest in taxes of all kinds, administered by all levels of government, with particular interest in income and estate taxes. The materials usually studied are designed for general practitioners as opposed to sometimes fairly narrow specific industry analyses; therefore, a TTP member should generally be in private practice at the time of admission. Such practice shall be located in northeast Oklahoma.
Members shall be an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association or an active Oklahoma CPA.
Nominations for prospective members shall be submitted in writing by a sponsor and co-sponsor, with accompanying cv materials concerning the prospect. The Nominating Committee shall study the application and make such inquiry as the Committee deems appropriate. A recommendation shall thereafter by made to the full membership, after which an invitation to meet with TTP at a regular luncheon may be extended. The membership shall decide at a subsequent meeting on the proposed member's application.
